Description

Designed in 1952 by Harry Bertoia for Knoll, the Diamond Chair is one of the most recognizable works of mid-century modern design. Sculptural yet comfortable, the chair’s airy steel lattice construction gives it a delicate appearance while remaining remarkably strong and supportive.

This pair showcases the elegance of Bertoia’s vision — a harmonious blend of art and function. Their open, diamond-shaped form works beautifully in a variety of interiors, from minimalist to eclectic, and they can be enjoyed with or without seat pads.

Bertoia once described his work as “mainly made of air,” and these chairs embody that philosophy perfectly.

Condition Report

Very good vintage condition. Light surface wear consistent with age, no structural damage. Welds are secure, and chairs are fully stable. The finish shows only minor signs of use, enhancing the authentic mid-century character.
